![]() my chores to keep out of trouble, my dreams lie elsewhere. The only part of my work that I enjoyed was working on the machines and repairing field droids. My parents left me a lofty inheritance which came in very handy. Soon I grew tired of the farm life and left the farm in the hands of my droid counterparts. I reprogrammed a few of the droids as freighter pilots, crop dusters, and couple as fighter pilots. We had a few run down z-95's on hand as a security force. My personal Headhunter I named the Fire Hawk. It had some modifications that I made to aid in times of crisis. The shield generators had double the power, and I added a double ion cannon on each wing. While not the superb choice in a dogfight, she had enough fire power to hold her own, especially in my hands. When times were slow I practiced basic manuevers and was trained by the security force on how to fly in close combat. Soon I became a great pilot with the fastest reflexes in the s-force. My father noticed these skills and would have me fly escort on his more dangerous spice runs. Once my parents had passed I realized farming wasn't in the cards for me. I took all the credits I could round up and entered the Imperial Academy at Gandalo IV. This was a relatively short hyper jump for me. While at the Academy I studied the art of warfare, weaponry, and advanced starfighter skills. Lord Vader often scoured the Academy for any suitable force suspects. Pickings seemed to be scarce, until I caught his gaze heading my way. Discovering my force talents, Vader took me as an apprentice, as ordered by Palpatine himself. It didn't take long for me to become a powerful Sith agent. All the pent up aggression from my parents demise fueled my dark fire. After completing my Jedi training and my work at the Academy I was assigned to Bastion. Actually I was transferred to the SSD Executor, but it was stationed in orbit at Bastion. The Fire Hawk was replaced by Tie Interceptors and Assault Gunboats as my primary craft. With growing pirate activity, the Hawk was kept in the hangar bay for "Jedi" missions. Soon I became an Ace pilot, earning my callsign Acehigh. The other members of my squadron said that having me was a secret weapon, like drawing an "Ace" in a game of cards. With growing popularity as a starfighter pilot, my Sith skills soon made me the top Imperial assassin as well. Palpatine kept a close watch on my progress, as Vader was technically my CO for all missions. The farm began to fall apart at this time, so I called for the droids to join me on board the Executor. After they arrived I reprogrammed them all as fighter pilots with their own personalities, strengths, and weaknesses. The Empire was slowly growing tired of the Tie Bomber at this time as well. Way to many were being destroyed in combat. The gunboat was clearly a more superior heavy assault weapon. But also more costly. Vader instructed me to demonstrate the worthiness of the Brick as Bastion came under attack. My squadron and I loaded up into the Bricks and proceeded to dogfight an onslaught of X-wings and Y-wings. Using the force to help guide my flight, I began to rack up kill after kill. Most of my wingmates were vaped quickly though, not used to the slower reaction times the bomber offered. So I quickly had my droids loaded into Bricks and sent out as reinforcements. We finished off the Rebel attack and held Bastion to minimal casualties. Seeing the success I had dogfighting in the Brick, Palpatine ordered me to head up the Trained Assassin's Unit experimental program. This program billed to be the best of the best of the Imperial fighter units. An unexpected double cross and a civil war within the Empire caused me and my droids to be transferred to the Judicator and the Dark Guard. This was strange because the DG was supposedly destroyed during the battle of Bastion. They now worked under extreme stealth and caution, if they were id'ed in battle, it was all lost. The Empire simply acted like they no longer existed, which was true. The only people that knew "we" were alive were the Emperor and Vader. My arrival was welcomed as the DG had just lost an officer in combat and needed command on the SSD Incinerator. To this day the Legacy of Tau lives on in the Imperial Remnant Archives. As for me......after Endor I staged another catastrophe where the Incinerator and Tau Squadron were believed to be destroyed. This event took place at Bakura, securing my defection to the ReBeLs. Now the Legacy lives on in one man and a handful of droids. May the Force be with us all! | |||||||||||||||||||
