Hello Guys!
#11
I can picture it now...... "Hello Dominos?  This is Aslan.  I ordered 3 extra large pee tree surprises to go, but when the driver arrived, he gave me only 2.  I dunno if he was alright either, he was looking kinda green..."

On a serious note, I dunno how it works down your way Tank, but up here, some pizza delivery drivers make $250 or more on a good Friday or Sat. night....all in pocket cash too. (I should know, I DID pizza work occasionally)  Location, of course, is key.  Down side to it all of course is you lose your evenings.

One profession I'm surprised you DIDN'T take on is security work, esp. with a military background.  Easy work, even if a bit boring.  Oh, wait, what's that, he's a member of RBL?????  NMT, potential security risk....think's he's an Admiral.  Wink ;D ;D ;D ;D :-X

Around here it's more like $500 or so, if you work your tail off.  Even the manager said that they tip really good around here.

But yea, I would have to be basically working all the time to do that, but I need money pretty bad.

I'll try to get on Galaxies tonight or tomorrow and get some work done, and set up admin privledges for you Snoop for the miners.  That way at least someone is getting the materials.

Tanker (tangk'er)n. 1. A dusty, crusty, grease-covered, dirty, sweaty, bright eyed, fuzzy faced, haircut-needing, beer-drinking, underrated, over-worked, underpaid, oversexed, little s%#* who can take a Tank and do more battlefield damage in ten minutes than a grunt squad can do all day.

Heh, welp, as long as it's all cash under the table(esp the tips) there's no waiting for payday, just watch out when the IRS comes calling.  If you mange your money properly(ie, save rather than spend faster than it comes in) you SHOULD be able to bounce back rather quickly.  Good time of the year to get started too, esp if you have a university or 2 nearby.....THAT's where you REALLY see the orders fly....lol.  I just hope you don't have a Peter Parker moment(like in Spidy II)  Wink >Big Grin :Smile ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Tips are all yours, although Domino's now asks for a dollar per hour of work since we're being paid by them.  Starting pay is $5.50 an hour, but within a month I get a .65 cent pay increase, not counting tips.

And I've been warned that, since this is a university town, that for the first few weeks we'll be hauling all over the place.

Not enough tall buildings around here for Spidey to get the job done.

I've got a little handy one for such needs, but I'm hoping that at the training they'll set me straight on everything I need to know. Smile

And yes, I know there used to be a Spidey-mobile.  I'm a big enough nerd to have heard the rumors and insinuations in current Spidey comics to notice that. Big Grin

Heh, I was still COLLECTING them when that beast came out.  I think I was prepared to BURN the issue too....lol.  NOT one of the brightest ideas Marvel ever came out with.

I never needed a calculator...I was always able(and still do) to do the change figures in my head(maybe THAT explains those little voices..... :-X :-X Wink Wink ;D).  More than half the time, the customers waited for me to figure out their change...count it out....and then HAND IT RIGHT BACK TO ME AS A TIP!! Always wondered WHY they couldn't have just done that to begin with and save me the trouble...lol.
