Pretty straightforward...max your armor, a decent engine and go with dumdums for best punch. Rockets are usually high explosive tips,the exotics tend to be frowned upon. ;D

get the cseditor plane builder, saves time and makes life so much easier than using the game to build planes. Also there is a .pdf there with lots a good info on plane types loadouts strategies and so on.....
Seein as u have some piloting already u might wanna start with the most popular airframe, Devestator, also try the brigand. I like starting folk out in the brigand, its a tuff bird and can be configured a few different ways including a turret. If u get good in a brig then hop in a Dev u will see why brig is a good trainer.
The NO CD crack on that site is not a good file for some reason but we can find that for ya later, its out there just have to ask.
Oh how to build? Either plane to start Dev or Brig, start with Full armour, med engine (NO NITRO till ya can fly cuz till ya can its more a means to a quick death than it is a help) 4 Hardpoints, prolly best to start with flak till u get used to aiming and ur connection then ya can change to the deadlier High Explosive. Gunz personally I like twin .60s fire rate is a bit quicker and range is a bit further and u will want both to start. Try goliath .70 cal also see how they feel. No one I know of uses smaller than .60 cal in serious battle. Oh also only put one set of guns on closest to center, reason is u can only fire one gun at a time and I have only twice ever run out of bullets b4 dying. Dum Dum bullets are the most destructive type. Dont ask me why cuz I dont know I didnt write the code I just fly the silly thing ;D

Here's what I've been able to come up with so far. I've built a dev and a brig. But both suck I think. I've got max armor, the second engine option for both, and 6 or 7 .60 cal gunz. Because of the weight limit I have no hardpoints on either. And what are these dum dum bullets? The only choices I have are "cheyenne", "goliath", ect.

If you get the CSeditor plane builder from the link I posted it will relive a lot of your confusion. Cheyenne, Goliath are names for the different cal of guns, you need to choose "none" for all but one of your gun points, then u can choose type of ammo for ur guns, this is where u choose dum dums. (This may only be an option if you have the plane builder, if you use the game to build you may have to choose your ammo at start of game, with the plane builder tho u can choose a default ammo type for guns and rockets, and still have option to change at start of game.) If and when u get the plane builder, install it and open then navigate to the "planes" folder in CS, if you dont have a custom built plane, this directory will not exist yet you will have to create it. This is where u will need to save any planes u build, once done the cseditor will default to that folder.
Also What zone name are u using???? If you cant find me or snoop on, find any SK in the zone tell them Juggy sent ya and they will take care a ya.
