"Guess who's back! Ok, I'll just tell ya then. 'Tis I...Kalumpa Smile. Yes, I changed my handle to Niq22 since I go by Niq22 everywhere else, heh. Anyways, I took some of my Christmas money and bought a Microsoft Sidewinder (The cheap version), so I should be back on the zone playing in no time Smile I am also getting an Ati Radeon 9700 Pro soon, so I am just about set. I do have a better video card now, then what I had before my joystick went out, so hopefully I will get some of my rusty skills back into shape and kick a few a**s here and there Wink Well, I hope to fly with you guys soon! Big Grin

Hmmm, doesnt look like I'll be back as soon as I had hoped. Sad I installed X Wing Vs. Tie Fighter, but, when I try to play, it keeps wanting me to install DirectX or something, even though I already have it installed. I think Direct3D or something isn't working (whatever that is). I emailed Lucasarts customer support, so hopefully they will be able to help me out.

It's best to watch a furball collapse, analyzing the movements of the enemy. Watch how they maneuver, when they fire, how they break. Visualize your own attacks against those observations, then go in for the kill. Sometimes, though, you don't get that advantage. It's at these times where you go in guns blazing, but keep your head on a swivel.

Okay, I finally decided to install XP, and now everything is working. Now I just need to get my skills back heh. Oh yeah, and reregister at Battlestats. Well, hope to see some of you on the zone!

Anyway glad to see ya back mate hope to fly with ya soon. If ya need a target to shoot at ask Tank, he hasn't been able to fly for a while so he should be easy pickins Wink
