Galaxies folks...

Wild if you have the chance to get another 256 MB RAM, you should do so.
SWG is very RAM dependant and 768 is a good size to have a decent gameplay.
The others components should suit you well.

See you in the game Smile

Simon,

I still have the 256 and 128 strips out of my current system to add to the new.
I hope that will be enough.

Are they compatible? Some boards only accept certain types of DDRAM, like only PC3300 or along those lines. If they are, you'd probably be set. Smile

Ok, since I was upgrading I went ahead and put in 1gig DDR(2 x 512mb Samsung pc2700 333 mhz).

What can I say?
This system rocks, running America's Army Operations at full detail at highest graphics settings without a glitch.

Now, I keep hearing bad things about SWG and that I should wait a while until some of the issues are fixed.
What is your opinions here?

Thanks again,

The best people to ask that is Simon and Aslan since they've been playing more than I have. They'd be more in the know.

All I've heard is rumors though.

lol, and i'm still completely blank!!! ;D Tongue
It's best to watch a furball collapse, analyzing the movements of the enemy. Watch how they maneuver, when they fire, how they break. Visualize your own attacks against those observations, then go in for the kill. Sometimes, though, you don't get that advantage. It's at these times where you go in guns blazing, but keep your head on a swivel.

There are still some bugs left,, and some further balancing needs to be done.
Droid Engineer is total crap, because droids are weaker than every noob in combat and the they have no unique functions.

But I still love beeing one, its a role playing game and not monopoly.

I can only say SWG is awesome and quite addictive. If I could I would play 24/7.

But one thing in SWG really sucks:
Where are my ReBeL comrades? Aslan and me are having quite a good time but we miss the rest of you.
