Arvoch Conflict
#11
After looking through the website on the features section I found this little dandy!

[Qoute]Customizing and Modification:
- Open to graphics customizing and changing. Import your own HUD designs, individual cockpits for each ship, and ships themselves. You can even change display positions and rename ships/weapons.

- If you import your own ships, you no longer have to replace the built-in ships. Imported ships will simply be added to the list of available ships to fly. You can also provide a configuration file with your ship to establish engine exhaust placement/scale, performance, description, and other parameters.

- Import your own custom sound effects and music for the game.

- A new custom mission system that gives you more control over the environment configuration, briefing cycles, and objectives. A more manageable text file structure is used that includes labels for each mission parameter. [/qoute]

Now if you read that you can probably tell what I'm thinking =D.

General Heads up to our researchers on this game.  Looks like DJO is going ahead with plans to group purchase this game and incorporate it into their systems...even to the point of getting BSC to add it to their listing potentially.  Apparently, the group purchase is going to cut down the individual cost significantly, although not sure just HOW MUCH that translates into yet.  Whether or not it will be possible to include other clubs outside DJO in the multiplayer games planned, I have no idea, but if we don't want RBL left out, I'd suggest we hustle.

Hey, I'm simply waving the flag, hoping Tank or Ace will take the hint and follow up from there.  It's out of MY paws and I certainly don't know much about the technical aspects.

hmmmmmmmmm I'm confused on how they can "purchase" the game lol.  From what I saw on the sight I couldn't tell if it's retail or if you have to order if off of that sight.  snoop any ideas there?  And if so what kinda cost?

As for DJO........the old timers here know my feelings towards that group lol.  If and that's a big IF they let groups outside DJO play this game competitively with them we need to be warry of them rigging the rankings and points systems in their favor.  Basically like what they have done with bsc and xvt/xwa these days.  The skill has been taken out and it's basically who can get the most bodies logging matches.  Anyways I need to do some more research on this but real life is kinda kickin my arse atm lol.  I'll check into it more this weekend, but tank and snoop or anyone else that can find any other info feel free to help out.

Ok, here's what I've found.  The regular retail price of the game is $ 24.95 (apparently it's being discounted to $ 16.47 for DJO's group member purchase), which ISN'T bad for a new game.  Here's the purchase link:
