just HAD to stop by and say this.....the FACT is that I will get posted to the Lord Strathcona's Horse (Armoured unit) on august 10th. the rumour is that B Squadron is understrength and that most new tankers will be sent to B Squadron.......B Squadron will be prepping to deploy to Afghanistan for February '08.....part of the work up training is 3-4weeks in Gerany learning the NEW Leaopard 2A6 Main Battle Tank ;D
This rumour also comes straight from a Warrant Officer that has been told he's going to B Squadron

Oh, Canada has purchased the Leo A6's? Sweet. Makes sense the Germans aren't selling the....I think they're up to A7 now to other countries, but the Leo 2A6 is a good machine.
