Don't forget your basic missions your trainer gives you as well. And yeah, some are far easier to do than others on your own.  I'm stuck on the mission just prior to gaining level 8 cert currently myself(I've had 3 goes at it so far and ALMOST get through it when I get several waves of imps coming at me at once. So far it's been a bit too much firepower to handle on my own.  Doesn't mean I've given up on it though.  >:/ >:/ >:/ >:/ ;D ;D ;D ;D  Catch me on hobovu and I'll wing ya a bit.

Hey Snoop, ask Holmes about how to get the Advanced X.  He knows what quest it is, though I think you need the ROTW expansion.

Talk to Ryan at kashyyk space station, and ask her out for a date or at least ask her what going on around here She will send you to emya on the planet and he will lead you to the majical Heavy Xwing

hobo Awing is a different creature and very capable but you must relearn your instincts to make full use of it.

As for its mass...hmmm snoop I had 18k shield I think, markIV everything minus armor, and if YOU WOULD LOAD YOUR DROIDS AND USE THE PROGRAMS!!!!!!!! you will find smaller components can still do more go fast or damage, or protection than any crafter can possibly provide. With finely crafted comps AND A LOADED DROID and PROGRAMS INITIATED You cant beat it.

Now for the turret, maybe cuz I got bored and notin better ta do, and I had a Yt-1300 ta do it in , but I used to sit out past the Rebel station #2, theres a dead like starship lookin beast as well as a dead space station, t3 TB cruise round and that McDestroyer t4 show up now and again, also that decimator and escorts spawns there, ne way heheheh used to sit there n tick em with rocket or sumin then I could stop run to turret heheh weeeeee...ne way
what I been meaning to get to is if you turn your mouse sesnsitivity way down and use your mouse, it really is more like that mine clearing game or sumin heheh works nice.....

oh n hobo I member those are t3 z raiders aye???? I did that mission solo on starsider in my skyc at t2 I think, twas a task and maybe took me 2nd try, but I had already mastered on gorath too. And guess what I had LOADED AND INITIATED on that skyc ???

You could run and dock with the ship and prolly get out cept the fool wants an escort too :o But indeed with one wingman least a t3 should be breezy

Didn't think the longprobes were 2 man craft, just the reg. Ywings....ah well, what do I know. 

Dunno bout the silly droids and programs Azis, they seem to like me bout as much as my comp likes me in RL when it comes to doing any programing....lol.  I DO have 1 set up in my Tank of a mining longprobe(kinda cool sitting at an asteroid gettin popped at from all directions and IGNORING it while collecting the asteroid bits...although the blaster impacts make me lose track of em sometimes :-4) but danged if I can remember how to access the silly thing(typical for me :).  Figure til I get the hang of using IT, it don't make much sense to put 1 in another craft, not that decent droids are overly abundant anyway - engineer trader seems to be a dying profession currently.  Least I DID catch computer while he still had the trade to get a few barc repair kits. ;D  Imagine my horror though when I used 1 the 1st time and had the barc come back DISABLED again the second time I tried to use it(didn't SAVE it the 1st time. DOH!!)

I DID try doing some escort work out of the Kasyk SS a couple of times a while back but never managed to complete them.  While the waves of fighters that came at me were thick, I always seemed to be able to keep up with cleaning them up without getting overwhelmed and yet STILL kept having my escorted frieghter get blown up behind my back.  Obviously, there's something I've missed that's getting through, but that's part of the fun...trying to figure out what 1 HAS missed.  Unfortunately, my eyeballs allow me only soooo  much time doing space stuff b4 they start sending nasty signals down to my stomach :'( :'( and I REFUSE to play to the point of needing a barf bag beside me ;D).

One thing I HAVE noticed is tht I seem to prefer crafting over doing missions. With this forced inactivity I've been going through while my legs heal in RL, I've been playing SWG a fair amount(and yet STILL not to the level you managed Azis, lol. My hats off to you) and yet still spend far more time as a crafter than doing anything else in the game.  I dunno..I find I tend to get bored rather quickly when doing a mission and yet it can't be because of simple repetition, or I WOULDN'T be playing a crafter...go figure.

Ok this is not the one I was thinking of, but I recall it now 

You need to disable the Gotal Bandit Ace. Then a droid is launched to take control of the ship. In the mean time, kill the 2 escort ships. Once the Ace is underway again, escort it to it's jump point. In the mean time there are about 5 waves of level 2 bandits, 3 ships to each wave, that will try to stop you. Be careful, you escort is targetable, do not shoot him down.

Typical Kashyyk lag from the pit of H** and the last wave spawning, are the difficult tasks. I remember the very last wave was like 5 dunes all hype in at once right on top of the escorted ship. This was fairly near the space station also. So as you near the station and wait for the last wave, keep a distance from the Ace you are escorting. Mainly once you get the last wave off the Ace,(turn their attention to you) the mission will succeed then you can clean up the rest or run or just laydown and get towed hehehehe
