Tanks ship lay dead in pace. Bit's of debris had perfferated his wing panles.... the engines refused to work. He could hear pellets of micrometeors pelting the hide of his ship. The ion cannon squadron under his charge.... destroyed. A huge chunk of rock rolled past his view port momentarily blocking the VSD from his sight. His communications terminal was dead as well.Using the force he reached out.
And he felt Ace's rage overwhelm him, threatening to throw him into the Dark Side with him. Managing to regain control of himself, he sent to Ace, "Ace, don't give in to hate...that leads to the Dark Side...focus. Think...why would your droid controled ship turn on us? They must be corrupted or remote controlled..."
He continued his message as he worked frantically to get his engines back in working order, hitting resets, switches, and everything else he knew. A sputter, and he felt at least one engine reignite, giving him half power. He managed to manuver his TIE Defender away from crashing into an asteroid as he checked over his damage readouts.
"Ace...you must regain control of yourself...and your ship. They'll be coming in to finish us off soon. They'll close in on the station and open fire, but if you can regain control of your ship somehow, then we'll have that frigate and Vic in a trap that anyone could dream for...trapped between the station and the Incinerator. But you can't do it if you're in a rage-filled quest for vengence."
He frowned. Communications weren't going to be coming back for awhile. His other engine was still attempting an automatic restart, but had aborted three times already. Something had to be in the system to be shorting it out. Tank pulled his fighter into a clear area and reached out with the Force to sense whatever might be causing the disruption...
