It's best to watch a furball collapse, analyzing the movements of the enemy. Watch how they maneuver, when they fire, how they break. Visualize your own attacks against those observations, then go in for the kill. Sometimes, though, you don't get that advantage. It's at these times where you go in guns blazing, but keep your head on a swivel.

hey goku just had a thought lol. do you have the mech pak expansions? the clan mech pak and the inner sphere mech pak? give you 8 new mechs and some new weapons. I have a pretty mean masakari I could show you lol to give ya an idea of the new weapons there's a heavy gause rifle that does 27.00 units of damage per shot, and a double barrelled ac 20 autocannon that does I believe it's 18 units per shot.

One other thing my zone friends is being gay right now and deciding not to work. so if you wish to find me I'll always be in the xvt room when on the zone until I find ya lol. then we can decide to use the zone game rooms or go into the mech server.

Your right mate I do have msn messenger too, but it's been acting up lately and isn't working properly lol just my luck

anyways mate gotta tactical question for ya. I'm on the last mission of black knight. Doing well taking down the check points but when I get to the fight with Maj Dupree she's kicking my arse pretty good lol. Just wondering if you've found any tips? here's my mech layout that I'm using.

Daishi: Max reflective armor, 2 double barrelled ac 20's, 2 er lasers. I can take down an atlas with two shots, but for some reason I can't do much damage to duprees madcat.

ok, here's what i did. i'm using a madcat, and it's realy freakin nice, though it'd be nice if it had mre armoring. She's maxed out with ferro fibrus armoring, 8 heat sinks. Now for the good stuff. Slap on an LRM 20 in each rack 240 each, then load four Clan ER Medium lasers into the chassy mounts, then two Bombast lasers on the arms. link the bombasts to your second trigger, link missles to 3, and lasers to 1. hit her with everything you've got at maximum range. once you close rely on missles and keep a lock. keep your bombast on constant charge

whenever her MK is in front of you, let her have everything you've got into one of the legs. focus on one leg and she'll go down in a hurry.

Not a bad set up there mate. My Daishi worked lol, must have just missed her my other attempt. I charged at her full throttle and she tried to jump jet up over a hill. While she was in the air I got her dead center torso with the 2 double barrelled ac 20's. Blinking red now, as soon as it recharged I got her again dead center and she was dead lol.

Ofcourse when I play online I don't like infighting that much, but it works like a charm against the ai pilots. Online I'm more of a sniper.

Heh, me too. Can't realy stand in fighting. Takes to much time to do alot of damage, and you can't hit weak spots as well.

Of course, you give me a rack of beam weapons and i'll murder you from any range... ;D
