As the X-wing speeds forward two purple flares are launched out of the back, catching two pursuing Squints ofguard. The first flare clipped the wing of the lead Squint, sending him into an awkward spin. The second flare hit dead on with his wingmate, unable to control his ship both collide in a brilliant explosion. With his tail clear, Hawk 2 now has time to think.

With his X-wing repaired by the R 5 droid riding shotgun, Ace swung his craft around and began an assault vector towards the shuttle. Using the force to guide his reactions and movements, he blasted everything in sight. Two eyeballs heading dead on with the trio felt quad lasers rip through their hulls. The lead fighter of this group soon spotted an Impy pilot suspended in space by his flight suit after ejecting. Squeezing down on the trigger a quad laser burst disentigrated the helpless pilot. Anger radiated from the lead X-Wing pilot and a high thirst for revenge. Not endangering his RBL brethren, this new found Rage only seemed to make this pilot sharper and even more deadly!
