Edited to correct and remove the incredible highjacking that had taken place...team effort Goku, not a one-man band.
Goku’s A-Wing soared in around the side of one of the larger asteroids. Before the targetting computer could get a solid lock, Goku’s index finger squeezed the trigger. The TIE Interceptor in front of him exploded as one of the lasers pierced it’s starboard ion engine.
“Hawk 2, Wrath 2 here. Send Tau around to the portside flank of that Vic. I’m going to make a run at it.â€
“Wrath 2, Azezel. Are you mad? You can’t take down a Vic in you’re A-wing all by yourself.â€
“Azezel, I’m not trying to kill the Vic. Those missle launchers need some killin’, and I plan on givin’ it to them. We’re getting shredded by those missles.â€
Goku veered over to port and pumped his laser energy into his engines. With a flick of his thumb, he switched over to concussion missles. At 1.5 klicks, he dropped his crosshairs over the starboard missle launcher and fired. The first missle impacted a split second before the first one, creating a gap in the shield that allowed the second to fly through and hit the launcher. Goku squeezed off another volley and the missles slagged the missle launcher.
‘Great, only one missle left.’ Goku pulled back on the stick and rolled to port.
Big mistake.
One of the Vic’s turbolaser gunners scored a lucky shot. The beam lanced through the A-Wing’s shields. The starboard engine blew and sent Goku into a spin twords a very nasty looking asteroid.
“I’m hit!! Wrath 2’s been hit!!â€
“Sit tight Goku, we’ll get someone there to get you as fast as we can.†Tanker’s worried voice cut in.
“No time Tank. I’m headed for an asteroid and no way to control it.â€
Goku looked over to where RBL Home should have been, but all he saw was a big blank spot in space. He placed two fingers to his forehead and tried to sense the station, but nothing came through.
He looked over to the Vic. “Azazel, I’m going to instant transmission over to the Vic and see if I can help us out any there.â€
Goku placed his fingers to his forehead and concentrated, yet he was being rushed. He picked up on the strongest, most energetic energy he could find in his rushed state and vanished with a blur, his Awing smashing into an asteroid a split second after.
His booted feet land on a cold, hard deck, and as he looks up he sees someone he would never have expected...
"YOU!! MULLET HEAD!! WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?!?!?" D'orjahl yelled in surprise. Goku groaned, he ended up on the battered YT-1300...not the Victory Star Destroyer as he planned.
"Must be a lot of weak guys over there..." He thought to himself, grinning sheepishly.

It's best to watch a furball collapse, analyzing the movements of the enemy. Watch how they maneuver, when they fire, how they break. Visualize your own attacks against those observations, then go in for the kill. Sometimes, though, you don't get that advantage. It's at these times where you go in guns blazing, but keep your head on a swivel.
