Goku looked up from plugging in the new rootie vending machine as claxons and sirens sounded.
"Those frikin Imps...." Goku placed two fingers to his forhead and zapped himself over to the Wrath hangar. He turned and found himself looking at the dissasembled engines of his U-Wing.
"Dang, forgot those Wookies were going to do some work on them." Goku stepped over to his A-Wing, the one Aslan had given him when he'd first arrived and joined the squadron. "Well, i've never flown you, but let's make sure we both come thorugh this one."
Goku hopped into the cockpit and powered it up. Only then did he notice his reflection. "Whoa!! I've been Super 3 this whole time??!!" Goku relaxed his body and reverted to his normal state. Goku then doffed his helmet as his cockpit slid shut.
The A-Wing rose up on repulsorlift engines. Goku goosed the throttle forward until he'd cleared the magcon field, then he slammed the throttle full forward.
"Control, Wrath 2 is away."
"Confirmed Wrath 2. Only you and Wrath Lead are out there right now. Keep them back as long as you can. We're trying to clear Hawk hangar from a minor explosion. Assistance will arrive as soon as possible."
"Roger Control. Wrath 2 to Wrath Lead."
"Lead here Two."
"What's the bad news boss?"
"We've got two squadrons of squints, a squadron of eyeballs, and two squadrons of dupes on the far side of the asteroid field. They were launched from a Vic and a Nebulon B-frigate. If the Remdemtion doesn't return from it's re-supply mission soon, things could turn very ugly. Our primary is to hold those bombers, so lets get to it."
"Roger Lead. May the Force be with us."
Goku brought up his hud and targetting systems. Flicking a switch on the control stick, the weapons switched over from lasers to concusion missles. "Twelve missles, good."
Goku oriented his nose at the oncoming cloud of TIE Bombers ( AKA dupes) and placed his brakets over the lead dupe. His brakets flashed from yellow to red as he got a lock at 2.5 klicks. Goku squeezed the trigger and watched as the warhead shot off on a rocket of red flame.
The missle hit the dupe in it's missle pod half. The un-used munitions inside exploded, ripping the ship apart. Shrapnel from the starboard solar panel lanced out and sliced into the dead craft's wingmate. he ship didn't explode, but as it rolled, Goku saw that a piece of slagged durasteel was sticking out of the cockpit. 'A surgical kill. No pilot, no danger...'
Goku buckled down in his restraints as he inverted and dove down behind an asteroid so that he could come up behind the dupes as they passed. This was gonna be a tought fight....

It's best to watch a furball collapse, analyzing the movements of the enemy. Watch how they maneuver, when they fire, how they break. Visualize your own attacks against those observations, then go in for the kill. Sometimes, though, you don't get that advantage. It's at these times where you go in guns blazing, but keep your head on a swivel.
