Geforce is a line of Nvidia card and has all levels of quality. Its the same argument as ford or chevy. Cept evr one knows ford sux heheheh 
If u get into the higher end cards its hard to go wrong with either nvidia or ATI, they both make very good products. ATI has had a rep for driver problems especially updating in the past but I am sure that is old history.
Card manufactures can make a diff, personally I use Asus mother boards and have for years so I prefer their cards also.
These folks tho get to the nuts n bolts n whatever else makes things tick.....
