I'd personally stay away from them GeoForce tho... had nuthin but trouble with em... if it's same money, might consider a higher end Radeon instead. I got my boy a 9550 Radeon with 256 meg on it... for under 190. I got all SWG settings maxed and have yet to slow it down ;D Is that Opteron a 64 bit? If so beware of your OS heheh You might go with Xeon's if all you got is regular Windows XP (non 64 bit) Re: READER BEWARE: Arousal material within - Aslan - 01-27-2006 Piddle paddle I have a GeForce 6800 oc and it rocks!!! and I have found Radeon to be well .......not as good sooo repeat after me My card is better than youooooooors!!! ![]() Trully tough you get what you pay for most of the time! ![]() Re: READER BEWARE: Arousal material within - hobovu - 01-27-2006 i've been think of getting a new video card for my computer but they are all so expensive :'( for me Re: READER BEWARE: Arousal material within - WildSlash - 01-30-2006 GeForce are generally better cards.........well they are better cards. > ![]() Manufacturers make a huge difference though. ![]() Re: READER BEWARE: Arousal material within - Azis - 01-30-2006 Geforce is a line of Nvidia card and has all levels of quality. Its the same argument as ford or chevy. Cept evr one knows ford sux heheheh ![]() If u get into the higher end cards its hard to go wrong with either nvidia or ATI, they both make very good products. ATI has had a rep for driver problems especially updating in the past but I am sure that is old history. Card manufactures can make a diff, personally I use Asus mother boards and have for years so I prefer their cards also. These folks tho get to the nuts n bolts n whatever else makes things tick..... http://www.anandtech.com/video/ Re: READER BEWARE: Arousal material within - Goku1 - 03-04-2006 Ford sucks yes, Pontiac pwns all....>.> * waxes his Grand Am SE* |
