Heya.
Been a loooong.. Looong time. For those of you that haven't met me at one stage or another, I'm Wraith_49.. One of the original OBS (Order of the Black Saber) crew.. You would have seen me stalking the zone from.. 1999 to 2002, if my memory serves me right.
Just thought I'd drop in, and give you all kudos for being around for so long. Once was the time when we'd be a'clashin'. Ahhh.. Nostalgia. =]
As for OBS.. We've died down to a subtle murmur. Our boards being posted on once in a long while. Hopefully, some day, we can get back on our feet and tango with you some.. But.. It's unlikely. We mostly just talk now.. And even that's scarce. ;]
Anywho, kudos, and catch you another time. I may just take to ghosting these forums a bit.. Never know. ;]

*starts remembering OBS pilots sliping into hangar "ZERO-NINE" and taking the most recently re-furbished fighters and experimental craft out on "joy-rides" and ill-fated dules. The memories send the old flight tech into a fit.*

It's best to watch a furball collapse, analyzing the movements of the enemy. Watch how they maneuver, when they fire, how they break. Visualize your own attacks against those observations, then go in for the kill. Sometimes, though, you don't get that advantage. It's at these times where you go in guns blazing, but keep your head on a swivel.
