What's GASFIGHTER? Why the Galactic Association for inSane Fighter Racing of course!
And so far it's been shaping up very well, with the preliminary warmups looking very impressive.
A RBL_M1A2Tanker was seen completing flying 2 laps in the Ringer 1 in a TIE Defender at 1:46. His Yard Fly Throughs have been impressive as well, but he's still practicing that one folks.

those slag pit's could use more raw materials. hehehe At least if ya fall in, no work has to be done to fix the fighters.

Hey tank ya think RBL sports would cover the battlegrounds competitions? I've got the arenas sold out and the teams are ready.....lets get it on lol here's an update for my progress incase you haven't read the gbg board.
well from the huge response I got about this I could easily be deterred to give up, but ohhhhh not I! I've been burning the midnight oil to come up with these classic events. Ok maybe not midnight, but at least 10 pm coruscant standard time. And I have an update. After the initial testing rounds, the Jedi Challenge has been completed. In the test rounds the strongest teams have been the Rebel Alliance with their MVP ancient Obi-wan Kenobi, Master Skywalker, and ancient Yoda. Ancient yoda is hilarious btw as he attacks things with his walking stick lol. Usually near the top is the Republic team who have the entire old republic Jedi Council as their entrant. These two groups have been the top runners so far. Most of the other teams have 2-3 strong character jedi but the republic is like the almighty all star line up lol. Each civilization has a jedi temple, power core, and will start with 10 jedi ranging with a mix of heroes and knights/masters. Resources are 5000 units to start with and can be built up with workers if you run low.
The Ultimate Dogfight is about halfway finished. No test runs have been taken yet. From looking at the fighters, the Alliance and Empire may be the teams to beat here. The Alliance is featuring A-Wings, B-wings, and X-wings. While the Empire is bring the Tie Defender, Tie bomber, and Vaders Tie Avenger to the table. The Naboo could be a major player here with the N-1 but they don't have much to offer in the bomber field. These are my picks to be towards the top of this competition. Each civ has an airbase, power core, and will start with 12 fighters and 2 heroes. If they don't have a flying hero unit I'll just give them 2 extra fighters. Resources are 5000 units and are renewable. All ground units have been disabled to add for a better air battle.
The "Royal Rumble" event hasn't been officially started yet but I have the concept down. Each side will start with 10 heroes, and 10 army units. Air units will be disabled except for fortress units or special flying army battalions like geonosians. This is going to be a basic free for all style battle. Each side will start with the command center, troop center, mech factory, heavy weapons factory, power core, shield gen, and various "scenery". Resources are placed at 5000 units for each group. The winner is whoever is left standing.

Events are as follows:
Ringer 1, Salvage Yard Hot Fly Through. There might be more later on, but these are the base ones.
The Ringer is the Speed Demon, while the HFT is the money maker.
More may follow in time.
Rules:
Don't shoot your fellow competitor. Other than that...that's pretty much it. You shoot'em, expect to get shot back. So just don't do it.
Fastest time wins, all competitors are in same ship unless all agree on different ones, and the best conn hosts.
Any deaths are counted as a disqualifying factor automatically, no matter where you were on the track.
A screenshot would be nice too.
Other than that...START YOUR ENGINES AND HAVE FUN!!!
