Wookiees in XTC
#1
Hey everyone, long time no see and all that.  As per usual.  ^^;

Anyways, if you recall, I used to DJ for Blade Radio.  Well, family obligations came up (yay, holidays!) and so I was gone.  Turns out that at almost the same time there was a mass exodus of the DJs there due to some internal politicking, so now I'm no longer a DJ for them.

I'm now assisting with a talk program on holonetradio.com, which you can listen in to every Saturday evening, at 6 pm CST, about a bunch of players talking about Star Wars: The Old Republic.  The program is called Wookiees In Ecstasy, a sister program to the Star Trek program, Tribbles In Ecstasy.

Now here's where RBL may come in.  Besides just to listen.  Tongue

I've suggested as a topic of discussion that we discuss some past Star Wars games and our favorite elements and what, if any, of those that may have been pulled into TOR or could be pulled into the game.  Also just to discuss the nature of online play in the Star Wars universe and how it's changed over the years.

I would like RBL to headline that.

We'd just need some RBL vict-er, volunteers willing to installed TeamSpeak 3 and jump on with us and be subject to abus-ah, discuss these things. Big Grin  Who knows, you may become a regular.

So, any takers?

☼§☼    Whoa nelly I think I've seen a ghost LOL.....good to see ya mate!  ^Smile^

I love this idea!  Great way to get RBL out there and relevant again.  As we are true veterans of star wars gaming hehe.  I'm willing to help out with some commentary and experience stories but I don't have a mic and I don't have TS installed.  Maybe there is another way I could contribute to the cause?  Hit me back and let me know.  The lack of star wars titles for the current gen of consoles really has me outraged LOL.

I think there could be a text interview, but that's something I'd have to check with the guy running the show, see what he thinks.  TeamSpeak at least is free, but without a mic that does pose a bit of a problem for conversating lol.

Lemme see what the host thinks and we'll see where that could go.  Smile
