Ground Forces, Suit up!

To those of you fans of MechWarrior, and fans of blowing things up in general, the release date for MechWarrior: Living Legends has been announced.....

*Dramatic pause*

It's today!

MechWarrior: Living Legends has been announced to release at some point today.

Only one catch, it's not a game in itself, its a mod to Crysis, so if you want to play, you're going to need Crysis, and more than likely a computer that can handle the game.

I'll give more information as I get it, but I know this excites some of you. Big Grin

The only current announced time for release is "Mid Day" in Germany.... aka... now? hehe I'm waiting ever patiently, but I'm at work for the next 6 hours anyway.

Oh yeah, it's the Beta, not the official release. Here's what they say on the homepage:

After more than 3 years of blood, sweat and beers, of failure and success, of missed sleep and neglected personal hygiene, the time has finally come to share our work with the world. Yes, Wandering Samurai is proud to present MechWarrior: Living Legends and would like to invite the world to participate in our open beta program which will start on December 26th 2009.

So the game is absolutely beautiful, but it crashes like Fireyone after having too many rooties.
I suppose that's what a First-day Beta is all about, right?
