RBL City (on Gorath)

I re-subbed a couple days ago to check out the changes.

Oh I like the stacking to 1000. Being level 90 CL as a trader is nice too. Besides some new schematics what else is new?

Oh I can make droideka's now, battle droids and a mining droid. The droideka is kinda neat.

I havent tried any of my entertainer toons to see what they can do now heh

That reminds me, can you make camp kits? I'm assuming they gave that to sctructures trader, my DE doesnt have them heh.

Got a full column of camp varieties and options to choose from.  Not sure how much in demand they'll actually be - as I recall I seldom ever USED a camp while I was a Scout early on in the game. Most of it can be crafted fairly quickly, although the crafting stations options could be a pain...esp. if you LOSE the stations when the camp goes, without being able to retrieve them.  Shuttle option for a camp looks kinda neat, assuming it allows you to gain transportation easily in the wilderness without needing a big level area(sorta got used to the personal shuttle).

Looks like I've got a few new schematics too.  Shipwright has Mark Vl components for fighters, which is kinda neat, but the mass level is high, so they WON'T be going into Awings.  Crafting ability has taken a jump though, so the component results are better than before.  Tried building an engine from scratch on the fly and the result was comsiderably better than anything I had in stock at the time...should be interesting when I make a SERIOUS effort - can boost alot more stats on the components now.

Structures wise, aside from the camps, main things of interest is an entirely NEW generation of harvesters(elites, what else?). Built some of the mineral harvesters so far and they LOOK on the ground almost identical to the heavy versions.  However that's where the comparison ends. Heavy mineral harvesters have a max harvest rate of 14(least,best I've seen anyway) - these elites have (at LEAST) 43!!  Storage capacity goes from about 115K to about 375K(assuming harvest rates are what's focused on for the beasts anyway - can get much higher but harvest rate will suffer accordingly). Natch, power and maintenance consumption are boosted as well.  Too much to hope for, unfortunately, each of the elites require 3 lots rather than just 1.

Being level 90 at last is kinda neat with the traders...I can finally go on missions as Snoopy now WITHOUT getting my clock cleaned B4 the fun even begins.  Just need to find a decent suit of armor and a suitable weapon.  Down side is I'm no longer ignored by critters out in the field...ah, well.

I WONDERED how well those worked. I built a few early on after the option became availale, but never eally got into it myself, since I had a personal shuttle.  Wink  Anyone wanting a private shuttle of their own btw can simply do the rattletrap collection quest, rather than WAIT the # of months needed to get the vet reward version.  The thing is small, but it will do the job.  Only problem I've found with the private shuttles is that you can only go to existing shuttleports or starports...doesn't help much in getting a person INTO the city.  Sad

On a side note, RBL City on Gorath has dropped BELOW the 15 citizen minimum to maintain it's level 3 status and is no longer listed on the map.  Anyone interested in doing some recruiting to beef it back up, is certainly welcome.

Yeah if you put a shuttle beacon module into the camp it will show up on the shuttle map when placed This one showed up as "kidoo's Camp". Anyone can shuttle in to the camp too Big Grin  I just wish they LASTED longer... like a week or something.  We wouldnt have to have a big city for a shuttleport, just keep placing a camp (if they lasted longer) lol

I had a Junk Dealer on this one too... I guess they have clone modules too. Pretty neat
