Officially joined next gen

that's right guys had enough tax return money left over after bills to go out and get an xbox 360.  and so far I've been very very impressed with it.  I only have two games right now Perfect Dark and Top Spin 2 but there are alot of interesting games coming out later this year.  And the conrollers are awesome.  they seem to just form to your hand.

Now you guys know I'm an xbox guy in the console world but I'd like to see an even competition because hopefully that will press both sides to keep up quality work.  For those of you that are techies here's what I found on ign.com

Now the darkhorse in all of this is Nintendo's Revolution.  They haven't said much but I did see a spec sheet on ign that was very comparable to the first xbox.  they have something up their sleeve though, I just have that feeling.  E3 should be great this year in May!

The Revolution is supposed to be pretty impressive.  From what I've been told, it'll come with (or be able to play from downloads) all previous Nintendo games, other than those made by Rareware I think.  Which is pretty cool I think.

yes the big N is going backplay as far back as they can remember lol.  that will be a kewl thing for them.  the rev hardware won't be much more powerful than the first xbox, but like I said I think they also have something up their sleeves.  but they have stated that they don't want to compete with microsoft and sony, they just want to please their fans............ :-X

as for sony, I'd like to see more concrete info from them.  I do give them a hard time, but I'd like to see and touch the ps3 before I form a solid opinion. 

as for my 360, I'm having a blast!  just waiting for the killer apps to come out later this year like kotor 3, mass effect, too human ect.
