A former roommate of mine lost my XvT and BOP discs about 2 years ago, and now I'm trying every method I know of to get XvT to run without a CD, but with no success. Tried burning the ISO to a blank disc, and that didn't work either. So either I'm going to have to break down and buy a new copy from amazon or find some magical way to play XvT without a disc. Any suggestions?
Are you having trouble installing or playing it after install?
We have some stuff in the help section on getting it to work: http://www.rblsquad.com/help/xvtxwa.php
What I do to save discs is use MagicDisc http://www.magiciso.com/tutorials/miso-m...isc_hlp106 then mount the ISO file, system sees it as a CD then.
Another thing you could try is a no-cd patch.
quantum gave us a link to an XvT wiki as well that has quite a bit of info. http://xvt.uharc.net/start
