I don't think pre NGE droids exist anymore, at least as they DID back then.  My droid became 'modified' to the new specs the 1st time I logged in afterward.  Now I seldom even use it.  Granted, alot of the reason I had it in the 1st place was to be able to get around WITHOUT having to watch my back every second.  NOW, that's no longer a problem, unless I feel like taking something on, in which case I simply wait for a certain time period afterwards and then everything ignores me again.  I mean, it used to be you had to come in hard and fast JUST to survive long enough to gain entry to a building at the RBL site if your CL was low.  NOW, it's np at all.  ^^  Saves ALOT of time.
