I have some really bad new ;_;

It depends on what, exactly, your computer is doing. Any time a computer acts up, there are several easy things you can do that will often fix the problem.  You mentioned porn, for example and if your comp. is kicking over to 1 of THOSE sites when it shouldn't, it sounds like ya may have picked up a virus.  Easy way to check is to simply run your anti-virus program and see if it picks up anything.  If it IS a virus, ya need to nip it in the bud b4 the problem gets worse.  The anti-virus program should isolate and identify the culprit, but if your program is older, it may NOT be up to speed to catch some of the newer viruses and worms out there.  I'm sure some of the other members can suggest potential anti-virus programs to try, if need be.

Secondly, if your comp. is simply running slower and/or freezing up, it could be simply a time for some basic maintenance to be applied.  Go into your comp maintenance options and run the 'free up space on hard drive' option.  You'd be surprised how much clutter in unwanted/unneeded files you can accumulate in a fairly short time.  Also run the 'refrag' or reorganize option to get your programs to run faster.  Between these 2, I've cleared up alot of irritants on mine over the years.  You should be running these programs regularly(once a week - once a month, depending on comp usage)

If none of the above helps, THEN ya may have to start looking at other options.  RAM for your computer to run Galaxies well, should AT LEAST be 1 gig(that's what I'm using currently) or more.  512 RAM simply can't handle the game anymore.  Some of the members actually use 3 gig of RAM.  It simply depends on what ELSE your trying to use on your system.  Music videos, for example, take ALOT of room.

Try those options and let us know if any or all helped.  It certainly is far cheaper if ya can fix it on your own, than taking it to a repair shop, getting the hard drive wiped and having to REINSTALL everything.
Beware my dark side......oh! Hi Dark.
