ah ok, lessoned learned there I guess on the faction points. it does seem silly to have to pay for them when accepting a promo. now I gotta figure out how to get them back because the trainers are refusing me now 
I did a mission for Luke Skywalker on Theed... "Operation Light Wind" or something, anyway I launched my ship and nothing happened, only waypoint active was landing station and no instructions what to do, so I flew around, found some bot rebel pilots just flying around, so I gave up and landed, says my mission still active, but it knocked me another 15 faction points 
I'm wondering if there arent some bugs here....
