Here is how it was explained by Azis:
Quote:The 5 areas points are awarded for are
1. # of players
2. # of games
3. Game W/L raito
4. Player W/L ratio
5. K/D
Now battle stats uses a percentage depending on how many clubs have the required games and players to rank, with 20 points possible for each area, which winds up being a possible total of 100.
Since we only have 4 divisions I use 4 points for best 3 for 2nd 2 for 3rd and 1 for 4th, which is a possible 20 points total.
Now one little twist, in the event of a tie in one area the higher position is skipped: IE in the case of this wow, wraith, Cobra and Wolf each had 2 players, Making a 3 way tie with Hawk having the most and recieving 4 points. Now for what ever reason I dont know but battle stats does this I dont know why but they do. In this case there is a first and a 3 way tie for 4th. So Hawk gets 4 points, and the other 3 each get 1 point for this area. If it were a 2 way tie for 2nd spot then 1st place gets 4 the teams tieng for 2nd spot each get 2 and last gets 1 point. Whichever get the highest total from all 5 areas is the winner.
