The Sidewinder is pretty good. 3-way axis, 8 buttons, at least a 4-way hat and throttle control. Totally programmable. Works well with XvT for certain. And it's USB and completely supported by MS.
The original Force Feedback Pro though...isn't. >
It's also not that expensive either. I think about.....$30 or around there.
