In the past RBL has never been in an alliance with another squad. Mostly because the subject never really came up. We flew with anyone and everyone, which was the point to us. The closest we ever came to something along those lines was associating ourselves more closely to another, such as ASF and OBS. But outright alliance? Not really.
This is a much more casual group now than it was back in the day. That it still exists at all, when so many have fallen away, is amazing. Though even in our hey-day we flew for fun, with real life coming first. That has been and always shall be what RBL is about.
So that is pretty much why you haven't gotten a straight answer. There was no straight answer to give.

Tanker (tangk'er)n. 1. A dusty, crusty, grease-covered, dirty, sweaty, bright eyed, fuzzy faced, haircut-needing, beer-drinking, underrated, over-worked, underpaid, oversexed, little s%#* who can take a Tank and do more battlefield damage in ten minutes than a grunt squad can do all day.
