I've been hooked for a couple of months now, and I've made Commander grade 5. Probably be grade 6 sometime in the next hour or 2. It's addictive fun, there are fleets (guilds) and fleet actions to participate in. 3 different specialties to start off with and customizable ships. It's also about the only thing I can play online through the tethering app on my phone. So who all out there, if anyone, is on STO? I'm actually flying as close to RBL emblems as I can on my ship.
It's best to watch a furball collapse, analyzing the movements of the enemy. Watch how they maneuver, when they fire, how they break. Visualize your own attacks against those observations, then go in for the kill. Sometimes, though, you don't get that advantage. It's at these times where you go in guns blazing, but keep your head on a swivel.

Also, when did I get bumped up to Wrath Lead? Been making all my call signs "WS02" for the longest time.

I played STO for a bit, I enjoyed it got to Captain and got me my Galaxy Class, but I stopped because the game got a little boring for me. I'll probably buy some more time for it soon cause I kinda want to play it again.

FO, I take it you went Engi like I did with my first char. I've got a Tac on it's way up, and I have a couple of buddies who are Tac/Science. So we'd got tanks, healers, and DPS covered, lol.

I've been playing it the past month now. Well, almost past month. Not working really fast on it though, still just an LT.

Tanker (tangk'er)n. 1. A dusty, crusty, grease-covered, dirty, sweaty, bright eyed, fuzzy faced, haircut-needing, beer-drinking, underrated, over-worked, underpaid, oversexed, little s%#* who can take a Tank and do more battlefield damage in ten minutes than a grunt squad can do all day.

OK, so I have top lvl Tac Officers and Engineers on both Federation and KDF sides. This game is Free to Play now, if anyone is interested. Looks phenominal on an EVGA nVidia GeForce 520 GT <.<
