There's got to be some place to go where we can set up a city.

Especially since the critters are a major pain in the area we're at.  Pity we couldn't have Asamoya removed...  :-X

Quote:I wonder if the respecs will make it easier to transfer "elite" skills with "standard" skills?  I would imagine that the Jedi skills wouldn't be respec'd myself, but who knows right?

NO MORE TEMPLETES!!! At all, so when you "respec" you become your current level 'insert profession here'. VERY linear! NO MORE REGRINDING, your profession is your profession and outside of the repsecs the only way to change it to use a ONCE "ADK" that will be come a professional restart kit. If if your a level 90 BH and want to become a Jedi (and you dont have any respec) use the kit and your a level 1 Jedi. But jedi is a starting profession now and anyone can take it *sigh*.

Here some pictures of the new "intro" to the game that of corse has all the cool Star Wars content that vets cant play...

After you do a few quests (plus theirs voice actors) you get a an issued outfit. If your a smuggler like I picked you get mock Han clothing. WE ARE ALL CLONES!! lol

Welp, there's always that area Aslan and I explored over in the northwestern sector of Corellia, not too far from the RBL base over there.  The scenery was great and so was the fishing potential as I recall.  Downside was the nearest city was imp controled, which means LOTS of targets, IF you can handle them.  I DO strongly suggest that if we're gonna move, to do so BEFORE the new changes come into effect.  I dunno WHICH crafting abilities I'll end up with after the change, IF ANY and structures(as well as most other goods) are likely to get MUCH more pricey as fewer people are able to make them.  From what I understand, a toon won't be able to change professions after the respecs are used up(sorta bites) and I tend to doubt that a trader will be most players final choice.(I know I'm gonna be giving it a hard look)

Re: And so it changes again (CU2 aka NGE) - M1A2Tanker - 11-08-2005

I really don't like that they're making Jedi a base profession now.  It's just going to flood the place with Jedi.  Which in some respects is cool, but it weakens the profession.  Makes it too easy.  It takes away the actual difficulty of becoming a Jedi.

then it will be like almost all other star wars games and i'll move my house for you aslan ;D

Re: And so it changes again (CU2 aka NGE) - M1A2Tanker - 11-08-2005

No point moving it.  Too many player cities still.

Maguis so what of my character and what of all the work  I and others have been doing in the Jedi village is it of any use now? ???

Re: And so it changes again (CU2 aka NGE) - Snoopy - 11-09-2005

As I understand it, already existing Jedi will gain some bonus's during the changeover that new players won't have the option for(you'd have to check the websites for additional details beyond that, that's all I remember).  These bonus's only last as long as you keep the character though.  If you drop the profession, you lose the bonuses, they aren't transferable.  :'(
