YAY another Problem!  Sad my onboard sound doesn't seem to work

Re: Opinion - Azis - 07-02-2007

Did you install the drivers and software for the Motherboard?

:'(

Re: Opinion - hobovu - 07-02-2007

yeah installed all the drivers and nothing happened

Re: Opinion - Azis - 07-02-2007

Well I think they have come a ways since I last built a system. They used to have jumpers on the motherboard to enable onboard. May be a bios option also. Or there could be a conflict, which is not uncommon for sound/modems. You should be able to check your device manager and see if it is there and or has a conflict or.... :Smile

Go to your device manager and uninstall your sound driver, then restart your system and it should reinstall.

That should fix the problem.

Start/Control Panel/System/Choose the Hardware Tab,click the device manager button.
Look for items with a yellow question mark or red x icons. You can remove or delete thiese items, restart and windows will usually find and fix the items.
