They used to have jumpers on the motherboard to enable onboard. May be a bios option also. Or there could be a conflict, which is not uncommon for sound/modems. You should be able to check your device manager and see if it is there and or has a conflict or.... : Re: Opinion - WildSlash - 07-02-2007 Go to your device manager and uninstall your sound driver, then restart your system and it should reinstall. That should fix the problem. Look for items with a yellow question mark or red x icons. You can remove or delete thiese items, restart and windows will usually find and fix the items. |
