Unlikely Friendship!

Once the security guards arrived, it didn't take Zara long to find out that not much could be done. The thieves had been hitting the docking bays of the station for months now without any leads. The station offered thier appologies and loaded up the remaining components of the fighter to be transported back to a New Republic base. This was a severe problem in Zara's time schedual. To go back to the Rebellious would be to cancell the trip. So now it was up to his saved up credits, which didn't amount to much, and his New Republic ID, which wasn't very helpful in these parts. Though these parts was politically faithful to the New Republic, the people could really care less who he was.

Zara stuffed his ID in his bag and headed to the cantina again in his civilian clothes. His only hope was to find a lonely captain that wanted some company to Togoria. The odds was against him but he didn't have much of an option. As soon as Zara stepped outside of the docking bay holding what was left of his ship, He noticed the woman from the Sabac game standing against the wall accross the alley from him. Zara frowned at her and then started back towards Hazrd's Cantina. The woman fell into step with Zara quickly.

"So what ya going to do?" She said curiously. Zara looked at her with a bit of caution. "Well I'm gonna hitch a ride. I'd appreciate it if ya kept who I am to yourself." He said. "Well I would if I knew who ya was." She said without looking at him. Zara chuckled. "I meant about being in the New Republic." "Ah!" She said. "That explains the ugly orange flightsuit." Zara stopped walking and turned to her with a smile. "I'm sorry, I usually don't become friends with people that point blasters at me. My friends call me Zara." Zara said as he stuck out his hand. She took the hand. "Name is Crysania. Thanks for watching my back." She said. Zara noticed her strong grip. Obviously she had fended for herself many times. "So where are ya heading?" she said. "Togoria." Zara replied. "Togoria? Whats in Togoria?" Crysania said in confusion. "My family, It's a long story." He said. Crysania thought for a minute. "I can get you there but I have to make a stop along the way." She said finally. Zara's eyes lit up. "Really? That would be great. I don't have much to pay ya with." Zara said in excitement. Crysania chuckled. "Your New Republic credits wouldn't do me much good anyway. I can do some trading with Togoria to make it worth while. C'mon, my ship is this way." She said as she headed to her docking bay. Zara hurried to catch up with her.

Zara entered the docking bay expecting to see a run down cargo vessel that was expected of freelance traders. Instead he found himself standing before a gleaming white Correlian YT-2000 that looked new off the show room floor. Zara looked around to see there wasn't any security measures. Crysania was already lowering the docking ramp. "How come the thieves don't mess with your ship?" Zara said still looking around. Crysania laughed outloud. "My husband got me this ship. If they messed with it he would tear this station apart looking for them." She said as she walked up the ramp. "Great, a rich and powerful pirates wife. Just what I need." Zara mumbled to himself as he headed for the ramp.
