Starport pocket taxi - Azis - 01-07-2006

Having found myself in various situations...stranded, with no starship on same planet as well as not being able to recieve the mission allowing me to land at the Reb base, I have found a few safegaurds.
Pack a ship deed in inventory or pack with engine and reactor. While I can not land at the abandonded base, I can generate a ship, load a reactor and engine and travel from the starship term there.
I am currently also using it as drydock for building my 3rd dune. I have noticed that it shows as being available from every other starship term I have used since.
I know there are other starports thru out the system that require special landing permisions, however apparently does not apply to take off. Of course once the ship is launched or traveled it remains parked at the last location. The ship can then be unloaded and deeded.
This will be different if you have permision at a particular SST certainly.

Since the ticket agents go into aggro at 12m and launch the shuttle, I have found my back pack cab pretty handy... :-X
