Gonna have some fun tonight - Snoopy - 09-28-2003 Hurricane Juan is scheduled to make landfall in a few hrs, with Sif and I smack in the middle of the bullseye. It's currently a category 2 hurricane with lots of rain and wind. *Battens down the doghouse and gets his sow'ester rdy* Wer'in fer a bit o' a blow biy! :-X Re:Gonna have some fun tonight - Goku1 - 09-28-2003 Good luck mate. Re:Gonna have some fun tonight - Goku1 - 09-29-2003 WHOOOOOHOOOOOOO!!!! My friend James rocks!!! I now have a new XvT cd!!! ENEMIES OF RBL BEWARE!!! Re:Gonna have some fun tonight - Snoopy - 09-30-2003 WooooooooooooHooooooo!!!!! Just got back online after almost 48 hrs without power! :o The city of Trees(Halifax) really got nailed hard with Juan. A big chunk of the canopy came down during the storm, with is impressive considering we're talking 100+ yr old elms! Hardly a street can be found without SOME of them down across them and you can just imagine what happens to houses or vehicles hit by them. The damage is immense and will take weeks to cleanup. We haven't had anything near like this since the Halifax explosion! Re:Gonna have some fun tonight - Goku1 - 09-30-2003 Ok Snoopy, you win. The BoB trophy did survive the storm, didn't it? Re:Gonna have some fun tonight - M1A2Tanker - 09-30-2003 That's impressive indeed. Glad to hear you made it through alright. Since it should all be good wood, you could have one hell of a cookout and bonfire. ;D (I'm a tree guy though, so it's still saddening). I'm still annoyed about getting hit with your dish though. If I ever find it I'll make it into scrap. ![]() You do that and he'll have to eat in YOUR quarters - Sif - 10-01-2003 And he's a very messy eater ;D |
