Breaking News! - Acehigh - 01-15-2013

☼§☼
(holonet connection activated.  frequencey adjusted, signal strength optimal.  beginning transmission in 5, 4, 3, 2, 1.............)

**the holonet sputters and a narator is heard speaking.  "We interrupt tonight's regularly scheduled programming to bring you a special report."

(the camera centers on a black and gold astro droid with a darth vader helmet welded to the top of it's dome.......)

Xbert reporter R2Vader bring you breaking news on the holonet tonight.  It finally seems that the leader of the "free world", for lack of a better term, has lost his mind!  All funds should be directly allocated to this project immediately!  Time is being wasted, this could be our last hope to finally put an end to those pitiful wars on that dust ball the humans call Earth.  We must proceed post haste.....................................................

******static fills the screen as the signal of the transmission has been cut*********

(RBL station intercom activated)

"Sorry about that guys.  Just got word of the situation, everything is back to normal.  Check out R2Vaders report though.....classic stuff."

(RBL station intercom de-activated)

rotflmao.....nice find ace

Quote:Paul Shawcross, Chief of the Science and Space Branch of the White House Office of Management and Budget, responded with a Star Wars fancentric denial entitled: “This isn’t the Petition Response You’re Looking For."

Quote:A final, practical, nail in the coffin of our Death Star dreams was delivered when he slammed the Empire's tech, saying, “Why would we spend countless taxpayer dollars on a Death Star with a fundamental flaw that can be exploited by a one-man starship?”

Re: Breaking News! - Acehigh - 02-03-2013

I loved the part where Obama says "The Death Star would cost an estimated $850 cajillion to build, that's just not in the budget.  Secondly the USA is not in the business of blowing up other planets."
