Mechwarrior Online - Fireyone233 - 11-01-2011 SO, two years ago in 2009 they annouced for PC and 360 Mechwarrior 3015. Which then died due to not being able to get enough publisher backing for it. So what did Piranha Games decide would be the next best thing to do? They decided the best thing to do would make it a PC exclusive Free to play MMO. That's right folks, we're getting a brand new Mechwarrior Game for free! Mechwarrior Online! All the information can be found here on its website! I can't wait for its launch next summer in 2012. Re: Mechwarrior Online - Acehigh - 11-03-2011 ☼§☼ Nice find FO   I am also excited to see this.  Was bummed when I heard Mechwarrior 3015 had been dropped.  It's been a long time since we have had a quality mech game on the market.  I'm not usually for an MMO, but hey it's free and the battletech universe always has something going on.  Just hope they can keep it running.........as I'm curious as to how they are going to fund this project........Will def be looking out for this!  Will plan on using RBL_Acehigh for my pilot name.  ☼§☼ Ace out Re: Mechwarrior Online - Fireyone233 - 06-01-2012 Been a bit but hey, just wanted to say Mechwarrior Online Drops in July, so time to polish up them Mech piloting skills. They removed the Repair/Rearm and if you're a new player in your first 25 matches you'll make nearly 8 mil, letting you get a good amount of mechs. Hopefully, I'll be able to play with some of you guys as we can group up to 8 players in the game now. Re: Mechwarrior Online - Acehigh - 12-26-2012 Hey man great news!  I got a surprise of a new gaming comp for xmas   so I can join the fight with ya.  will be in either what's left of the beta or the actual game next week.  Re: Mechwarrior Online - Acehigh - 12-30-2012 fired up the beta last night and wow was I disappointed.  tried to use my joy stick and I couldn't turn at all.  I could go straight and back but could not turn right or left.  so I ran into a building and got super glued to it.  so I died pretty fast.  tried a couple other rounds with the mouse and keyboard and the controls just flat out suck.  had high hopes for this one, but I am not impressed.  ohhh well at least I got swtor working
