Flight stick: A debate that knows no generation. - RBL_Vapor - 01-07-2010

I have my old Wingman Attack 2 flight stick back home in Pennsylvania. I'm in Washington State now... So the debate. Ship it? Buy new? If new? Which?

I've been RPing on Second Life and WoW and brainhacking in Diablo II and DungeonCrawl (roguelike) So those don't really need flight sticks/yokes.

Kick me y'alls configurations.

Right now I am using a Saitek ST290 Pro.  Very durable, 6 buttons plus 8 way pov.  also has a throttle control.  was around 20-30 bucks or so at walmart hehe.  is also plug n  play device.

I'm also fond of the logitech flight sticks.  had one of those for a few years till it broke.

my personal fav though was my old square CH flight stick pro.  that baby was the snizzle!!

:o Washington State  :o  Only hillbillies live in Washington  Wink

Where you at now...was Idaho at one time IIRC  :Smile

Joystick deli ma eh?
I have been using Logitech for years now, Freedom 2.4 wireless currently.[Image: base_media?q=FroogleCatalog_CNETI138771....d745&hl=en] It was bout the last of the wingman series.
Only one I ever had I liked much other than Logitech was my first one, MS Sidewinder.... :-4
The CH stuff is solid but I just didn't like the loose feel of it. I do think that is about as close to what the fellas in Nevada are driving them drones with tho  Wink

It prolly cost 10 bucks min to ship ne thing and then ya still gotta make it work in your current environment. Prolly be better off findin a cheapy at wally world that will do what ya want. Don't sound like your likely to be living behind it  ;D Just sumin to get ya back in the cockpit.

DOH!!! Looks like I aint shopped for a joy in long time...I paid bout 80 bucks for my freedom I also have a Extreme 3D Pro [Image: base_media?q=FroogleCatalog_CNETI204147....6aec&hl=en] still in box on standby.

Looks like bout any of em can still be had for under 30 beans  ??? They have an Attack 3 [Image: base_media?q=FroogleCatalog_CNETI196805....2a1c&hl=en] starting at 14 new  :o
