I think they may have been someone's rather than wild... they didnt seem too concerned with me and the dog. Re: happy thanksgiving! - Snoopy - 11-27-2006 Heh, I'd almost guarantee those were domesticated 'wild' turkeys. Probably some local farmer trying to restock the local population. We used to have farmers round where I grew up doing the same thing with pheasants. Problem is, they seldom survive the winter cause they never learned HOW to, being raised in a barn. Re: happy thanksgiving! - hobovu - 11-27-2006 Happy Late Thanksgiving !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ahhh i love thanksgiving with all the food mmmmm..... the turkey was geat ^ ![]() Re: happy thanksgiving! - Goku1 - 11-28-2006 Texas Roadhouse this part Friday, day after turkey day. Ate a 96 oz. steak! in 47 minutes! Re: happy thanksgiving! - Azis - 11-28-2006 Turkeys is SOOOOOOOOO STUPID ;D heheheh I was listening to Mark and Brian and they had a turkey farmer on. He said turkeys is so stupid that if you chase them into a corner they dont know how to get out and will stay there till they die :o He said that if in an open field during a rain storm, they have to get the dogs to herd them back to shelter cuz they will look up and drown LOL!!! While Holmes turkeys may not be native/wild, there are indeed wild turkeys in the Ozarks...close to your parents aint it Holmes? |
