Oh they make that part easy to understand.  It's that little number in the upper left corner in your HAM bar.

So much for THAT theory Tank. According to the #, I'm rated a 16...2 levels higher than needed to use an E11 carbine. So I bought 1. Natch, it tells me I'm not qualified to use it when I try. :'( :'( :'( (And yes, I have all 4 sections of Marksman for carbines.)
Of course, that wasn't the BEST part. I also forked over significant bucks for some armor, only to find out I'm NOT qualified to wear it....EVEN  modified. :'( :'( :'( :'(

That's not a theory, that's what they SAY is the case.

Course them saying it just might be a theory too lol.

I know about the armor though.  I can't wear any armor at all now.  But Simon hooked me up with a combat droid, so I can at least defend myself a bit from something stronger than a worrt.

I havn't had time to play yet, but if thats the case i'm completely screwed, because I was decked with a full suit of Composite armor, and a sword, and if thats how this is going to be, I bet all of my armor will be in invintory and may move to the darkness in the light soon (my house) as a combat class, i'll have some trouble adjusting i think, I think I'll have time to log in tonight though.

If you're a master in any combat profession you can wear the armor, it just depends on which one.  Composite armor is now Assault armor I believe, and that goes for....Commandos, Bounty Hunters, and one or two others I think.

I refitted one peice of my composite armor and I still couldn't wear it, so I just put all my armor up in the Guild Hall.  Maybe someone else will find a use for it later on.

seems like a silly game to me. To be a true sim, you'd think you could wear whatever you wanted, when you wanted, if it was available

Yeah, my weapons and armor will make nice decorations in 1 of my houses. 

It's all about the man putting us down!
