RBL Comlink

I've been looking at CafePress.com as a source of income for my own website, and the thought occured to me that we could do the same thing here for RBL.

To a degree anyways. I know it was discussed MANY moons ago about having our own calenders and small product line, but here we could actually have something. It may not be much, but it's free. We could sell calenders, shirts, mugs, CDs, whatever.

Come on now, bet you guys have some ideas about THIS.

There would undoubtedly be copyright issues with doing that.

On some things yes, but if we were to have shirts that had say...your screenname on them, or mugs with sayings that RBL members say on them, that shouldn't be a problem. Images would be of course, especially the Star Wars stuff.

I thought up one mug for Az already..."Old Fogy." For Vader..."Socks!"

Granted people outside of RBL (and some in it) wouldn't get it, but then it's not a big deal since the website sets it up for free, so it's no charge to us, and could add some cash to you for the server.

The images, yes, unless we did them all ourselves, which shouldn't take too much.

My name would present a little bit of a, um, quandry for us. Though, obtaining permission to use it shouldn't be that difficult.

BUt this does sound like a good idea Tank.
