Actually Radar left before the movie. So the only characters to endure the entire war were Hotlips and Hawkeye I believe.
Wait...how does Radar leave before the movie when he was the only one to jump over FROM the movie?
Tank maybe we aren't talking about the same movie. There was a movie that was used as the series finale. The very last episode ever. The war ended and everyone went home ect. I don't remember when in the timeline of the show this happened, but Radar left maybe two to three years before the show went off the air. Well the new episodes anyway. When Radar left, Klinger became the company clerk. This might have even been during the final season, I'm not totally sure of the timeline, but I know Radar wasn't present in the series finale movie. That was just on here a few weeks ago hehehe
When talking about what charters that lasted I meant through the whole tv series and they were:
Major Margaret Houlihan "hot lips"
Captain Benjamin Franklin Peirce "hawkeye"
Corporal Maxwell Klinger
Lt.Father Francis MacKahee later made Captain
And Corporal Walter Reilly's name was, Corporal Walter O'Reilly "radar"
Klinger came late....im like....99% positive he came in about a year or two into the show
