Ok, here's what's going down...

The CPU apparently was defective after all. Which really ticked me off, because I ordered it to be pre-tested before they sent it to me.

It gets better though...I sent it back to them Tuesday, and I know it got there Wednesday by 3 (Priority mail, 17 bucks).

I got an email from them Friday saying that they just got it, and they are having a 4 day backlog.

Next week is Christmas week...they probably won't look at it until the week after...and even though I paid for them for 72 hour service (otherwise I'd be waiting 21 days), it'll still probably be the beginning of next year before I can FINALLY get online on my own computer!

I tell ya...all the trouble I've gone through on this, the blasted thing better work! And for at least 5 years!
