He has been granted Admiral status both on the boards and at battlestats. Only fitting since during his 8+ years with RBL he has remained active in some fashion in a Star Wars gaming environment as an upstanding ReBeL representative.
Duties and responsibilities may be diminished since there is no squad to lead, however, the recognition should not be.
