I work for my money, believe you me. While the insiders get to leave at the end of the night after putting away the toppings (sometimes before then), while taking home full minimum wage paychecks, I have to remain behind, clean up the store, sweep the floor, fold boxes, do dishes, count out my money, make sure it was done correctly, clear checks, go over the make-line because the insiders did a poor job cleaning it. All the while being paid under minimum wage, using my own car, paying my own insurance, fighting the elements and traffic, all to bring my customers their hot meals...just so they can stiff me.
And while that may annoy me slightly, there's always a balance. The next customer usually makes up for the stiffer. ;D Plus I like this job, even if the money isn't great. If it wasn't for the tips, I wouldn't do it.
