I'm using everything at level 3 so it won't harm my components.

OK I have Mining cannons and a storage bay  and went up to a silicon astriod and shot at it but never got any slicon what do I need to do to mine? ???

the drained vein heheh I seem to sniff those out muhself...have had em run out but are supposed to respawn. Also there are more than most all types in a system, have found one givin n one not. Took me a while too since the distance to some is so close the chunks will spawn off to the side or out of view...usually there will be a faded green dot on radar for chunks.

Once u get a big chunk off break it into lil ones then gather the lil ones by shootin em  <)

Thank you  it worked but OOOOOH NOOO I think I cuased the universe to go into a Flux!!! All of the universe is in a time warp!!! Sorry I didnt mean too shoot that strange asteriod!!! All ground action is now 2 steps forward and 3 back!!Who will save us!! :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(
